This stat is courtesy of the 2011 National Housing Pulse Survey released by the National Association of Realtors.
Other stats from this survey include:
- 7 out of 10 Americans agree that buying a home is a solid financial decision
- 2/3 of those surveyed feel that now is a great time to buy a home.
- The top 2 motivators for buying a home were “stability and safety” followed by “Building Equity” according to those surveyed.
This stat proves that people today still feel home ownership is important even with the economy the way it has been. The economy is showing signs that we are making a rebound and we are seeing an increase in calls and showings coming into Century 21 Gold.
